The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor at Sally Beauty plays a crucial role in creating memorable shopping experiences for customers. This position focuses on building relationships, inspiring loyalty, and providing expert advice on beauty products, including hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails. The role requires a passion for beauty and a commitment to customer service, supported by training and product knowledge provided by Sally Beauty.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships and inspire loyalty among customers.
- Recommend additional and complimentary products to enhance customer experience.
- Inform customers of current promotions and events.
- Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
- Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in the Loyalty program.
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
- Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
- Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
- Able to communicate with customers, co-workers, and management in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support customer service.
- Can read and explain product labels.
- Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
